Mark Edwards is the Associate Director for Great Beginnings, a non-profit community based organization (CBO) that promotes the healthy development and growth of children and families. He has a BS in Public Administration and Masters in Business Administration. He has over fifteen years experience in directing and coordinating several comprehensive prevention programs for Los Angeles Unified School District - Local District VII. He has developed and implemented character education and youth development programs for more than 10,000 students in Watts, California. As a certified trainer and consultant for nationally recognized character education and youth organizations; such as Community of Caring and Youth Leadership Institute (YLI), he has inspired national and international audiences with such topics as; Kids Making Choices, It's A My SPACE Generation, Hands Off - Just Wait, Caring Counts In The Community, Tough Talk for Parents, Today's Youth - Tomorrow's Leaders and many more.
