EileenEileen Nicholas is presently employed as aTeacher Specialist at the Ogden School District, where she supervises the district Guidance Counselors and worked on Character Education, Service Learning, Teen Pregnancy, Human Maturation, Due Process Hearings, and Gang Prevention for the district. She has been in the field of Education for over thirty two years. She has taught and counseled on elementary, Jr. High, middle, and high school levels. She also spent seven of her first years in education working in the youth corrections field. She holds a M. Ed. in Guidance and Counseling from B.Y.U. and has also done graduate work at W.S.U. and U.S.U. She has been a guest speaker on talk shows on both radio and three local TV channels speaking on counselor related issues and our local school system. She has served on the Utah School Counselor Association Board for the past fourteen years. Eileen was also selected Middle/Jr. High School Counselor of the Year for 1996 by the U.S.C.A. and nominated for the Counselor of the Year on the national level for the American School Counselor Association for 1997.

In 1999 she received the Child Advocate of the Year Award from the Child Abuse Prevention Council. Eileen loves the field of Education and working with children is her specialty. Eileen is an Adjunct Professor for the University of Phoenix and has been such for the past thirteen years. She received the Teacher of the Year from the students at the University of Phoenix in the spring of 2000. She also received the National Community of Caring Distinguished Coordinator Award in July of 2000. Eileen lives in Farr West, Utah with her husband, John, and two of their seven children. Eileen's passion is Life Long Learning and Chararcter Education Training for all of her students despite their age.
